I made a treasury yesterday. I occasionally check the treasuries to see if I'm featured and yesterday, as I clicked on the treasury lists, there was a box at the bottom, asking for a title. So, I'm not sure where the inspiration came from (maybe all the cloudy days and not being able to photograph a thing?) but I got one. It took forever to come up with items to fill it. I felt bad for anyone who saw they were in, then out, then in... but I finally finished it. It brightens things up a little.

Front Page Feature!

No this isn't a screen shot of the FP treasury because I missed it when my item was included. I logged on to etsy and saw a wonderful valentine treasury and thought "Hey! I was in that!", so I checked the original treasury and sure enough, my flower brooch was there. "I was robbed!", I thought. I know admin has the right to substitute things that they feel fit better, but my flower is lovely "why would they do that!" I was about ready to post a "I was Robbed!" post in the forums (tounge in cheek, of course) when a thought hit me upside the head..."did it sell?". I am SO glad I got that smack to my head because, yes, it did sell! "Whew!" i only embarrased myself at home and not in public!

So yay to isiki for a wonderful treasury. This was her first attempt at a treasury and made the FP! She also has only had her shop open since December 10! A talented lady so check out her shop. I'm sure you will be hearing more about her!

Giving Credit Where It's Due

I was fortunate to be chosen for a beautiful treasury that made it to the front page of Etsy.com today (third row, last on right). I made two sales so far from it and have received almost 20 hearts. Very exciting and unexpected.

I have been in a few treasuries that have made it to the fp and am always thankful and grateful for that. I find myself saying "I made the fp today" when, in reality I had nothing to do with it! The full credit goes to the creative and patient curators who take the time to search for items that make an artistic collective, have the talent to put it together and then, on top of that, have the fortitude to catch a treasury!

The curator of this wonderful treasury is justearrings. She has lovely earrings in her shop as if you couldn't guess (lol). She also has a bracelet shop that sells matching bracelets and a quilt shop that sells quilted and crocheted items. I highly recommend you check them all out! Very lovely stuff!

I just wanted to say thank you and to give credit where it is really due!
